National Commodity Clearing Limited, vide Circular No. NCCL/CLEARING-044/2026 dated July 10, 2026, has announced an important update regarding changes in the CL01 and CL02 collateral reports.
Key Details of the Update –
• National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) has partially modified Circular No. NCCL/CLEARING-027/2026 dated April 30, 2026 relating to the format of report downloads for Clearing and Settlement.
• Applicability: All Members of the Clearing Corporation.
• The following collateral reports have been revised:
• CL01_01 / CL01_02 – Collateral Report: Statement of Capital and Collateral Breakup.
• CL02_01 / CL02_02 – Collateral Report: Base Minimum Capital (BMC).
• The revised CL01 report format includes details of Base Capital, Additional Base Capital, Additional Cash Security Deposit (ACSD), Total Capital, and annexures containing Bank Guarantee and Fixed Deposit details. The reports are generated twice each business day—before the start of the market and at the end of the day.
• The revised CL02 report format includes Base Minimum Capital (BMC), Interest Free Security Deposit (IFSD), and annexures containing Bank Guarantee and Fixed Deposit details. These reports are also generated twice each business day—before the start of the market and at the end of the day.
• Key Changes: The formats of the CL01 and CL02 collateral reports have been revised, including updated report structures, naming conventions, and detailed collateral breakup formats as specified in Annexures 1 and 2.
• Effective Date: The revised report formats shall be applicable from trade date July 13, 2026.
Actions if Any –
• Members should take note of the revised CL01 and CL02 collateral report formats.
• Members should update their systems and processes to accommodate the revised report structures effective from the applicable trade date.

• The revised CL01 and CL02 collateral report formats shall be applicable from trade date July 13, 2026.
