Association of Portfolio Managers in India (APMI), vide Compliance Sutra Calendar – July'26 dated July 24, 2026, has announced an important update regarding Compliance Sutra sessions on the SEBI Consultation Paper for the review of the Portfolio Management Services (PMS) Regulations.
Key Details of the Update –
• APMI has announced two Compliance Sutra sessions to facilitate a detailed discussion on the SEBI Consultation Paper reviewing the Portfolio Management Services (PMS) Regulations.
• Applicability: Principal Officers and Compliance Officers of APMI Members. The sessions are exclusively for APMI Members.
• The sessions aim to provide a structured walkthrough of the key proposals contained in the consultation paper.
• Participants will be able to discuss the potential implications of the proposed changes for Portfolio Managers and share their views, concerns and suggestions.
• APMI intends to consolidate industry feedback for submission in response to the SEBI Consultation Paper.
• Session 1: Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
• Session 2: Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
• Presentations from previous Compliance Sutra sessions are available through the APMI Member Desk login.
• Effective Date: Immediate.
• Key Changes: Announcement of two Compliance Sutra sessions to discuss the SEBI PMS Consultation Paper and obtain industry feedback.
Actions if Any –
• Principal Officers and Compliance Officers of APMI Members should participate in the scheduled Compliance Sutra sessions.
• Members are encouraged to contribute their views, concerns and suggestions on the SEBI Consultation Paper during the sessions.
Compliance Deadline –
• July 28, 2026 – Compliance Sutra Session 1 (4:00 PM to 5:00 PM).
• July 30, 2026 – Compliance Sutra Session 2 (4:00 PM to 5:00 PM).
